Common questions
Does LocalLLM need an internet connection?
Only to download a model the first time. After that, you can chat entirely offline.
Where are my conversations stored?
On your device. Your chat history is saved locally and can be browsed, searched or cleared from Settings.
Which models can I use?
A curated set including Llama, Qwen, Gemma, DeepSeek, Mistral and Phi, plus Apple's on-device model on supported devices.
What does the Pro upgrade add?
Pro unlocks unlimited downloaded models and background downloads. The free tier includes one downloaded model plus Apple Intelligence where available.
